Studio 2000 was appointed to deliver the complete fit-out of Gucci’s first standalone boutique outside of London, located on Edinburgh’s prestigious Multrees Walk. The project combined two existing retail units into a single, high-profile store featuring eight display windows across three elevations. This new presence brings Gucci to the heart of the city’s historic New Town.
Delivered on a five-month programme, the project included structural works, full M&E installation, and high-end interior finishes. A standout feature is the marble flooring, chosen for its sense of heritage and elegance. The design blends classic materials with modern detailing, creating a retail space that reflects Gucci’s evolving brand identity.
Working within a busy shopping district, our team managed significant logistical challenges, particularly during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. External works were carried out with close coordination across stakeholders and the local authority to maintain access, minimise disruption, and meet the project timeline.
