A six-week, full fit-out delivered to Diesel’s global brand standard, completed while the village stayed open for trade.
Studio 2000 was main contractor on a new Diesel store at Kildare Village, with full responsibility for delivering Diesel’s centrally-signed-off brand specification inside a six-week programme.
Global retail brands specify their stores centrally. Every finish, fixture, and lighting circuit is locked at headquarters, and the build has to match what’s been delivered across the rest of the network. As main contractor we held the programme, coordinated every trade on site, and carried the risk on quality, sequencing, and opening date.
Working in a live retail environment
Kildare Village trades seven days a week. That meant noisy works scheduled around opening hours, deliveries routed through service access only, and hoardings kept neat and brand-appropriate while the rest of the village was open. We coordinated daily with the centre management team to keep neighbouring stores trading without disruption, and ran a clear out-of-hours plan for the noisier phases.
Why this matters
Studio 2000 works across residential and commercial, and we’re expert in both. The disciplines transfer in both directions: tight programmes, exact specs, a signed-off scheme built as drawn. Whether you’re a designer running a private home or a brand fitting out a new store, you get the same approach and the same accountability from us as main contractor.
